#LHD HONG KONG CITY GUIDE

The Webster’s Founder and CEO, Laure Heriard Dubreuil, takes us on a 24-hour tour of Hong Kong for the Lane Crawford x The Webster exclusive worldwide launch —what’s new, what’s hot, and what’s a must– as seen and told by #LHD.

Bustling streets, neon lights, towering skyscrapers and a pulsating energy that seems to go on forever. Hong Kong is unlike any city I’ve been to before. With little more than twenty-four hours to discover the city, and attend the big event, I was ready to hit the ground running as soon as I arrived in Hong Kong. With a little jet-lag on my side and all the excitement of the upcoming evening, I was feeling up for anything! Check out everything I got to see and do in the city!

First stop…

I started the day with green tea, a healthy breakfast and of course my Paco Rabbane exclusive clutch, at The Peak Lookout. The view was stunning. From up there, Hong Kong looked like a cluster of tiny concrete buildings. The city’s restlessness and energy were reaffirmed by the view from the Peak.

Going sight seeing?

After taking in the view and some fresh air, I head to the Man Mo Temple. One of Hong Kong’s oldest, it is a tribute to the god of literature, Man Cheong, and the god of war, Kwan Yu. The inside was beautiful, with incense coils hanging from the ceiling and the red and gold decorations everywhere. My Charlotte Chesnais cuff matched perfectly!

Art in Hong Kong? Massimo De Carlo

Lunch was a quick bite on the go, as I had so much to see and couldn’t miss checking out the Roland Flexner, Ai Weiwei duo exhibition, at the Massimo De Carlo Gallery, a must-see!

Getting Around the City, Star Ferry

Caught a ride on the Star Ferry to see Hong Kong’s iconic skyline on my way to the Lane Crawford Canton Road store. The view is even more impressive up close, no wonder everyone falls in love with the city!

The best place to go for dinner? Mott 32

After a long day discovering the city; I finally made it to Mott 32. The venue was spectacular, and an experience in itself! The décor was astonishing, the service excellent, and the food, to die for! I especially loved the Dim Sum.

Where to find the best pieces in town? Lane Crawford

Lane Crawford is the best place to shop! After dinner, we headed over to Lane Crawford Canton Road for the big event. It was exciting to see all our hard work come to life. The store overflowed with flamingos, bright colors, all the pieces from our exclusive collaboration, and of course all our friends in Hong Kong! Stop by to check out the #LCMiamiFever before it’s all gone!
