Data Entry AnalystLogistics Associate


Position Summary

The Data Entry Analyst will be responsible for item and purchase order creation and shipping and customs documents for The Webster network. This person will be part of the Supply Chain Team and manage the quality of data in our system by entering the most accurate item information and analyzing inconsistencies within the data to meet The Webster’s standards. They will be responsible for developing solutions to improve the accuracy of data, identify discrepancies in the system, and improve time to market. This position is in a fast-paced environment and the associate will be dealing with high volume of brands to manage and enter each season with the team. The ideal candidate is analytical, tech savvy, and proficient in ERP systems and excel

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Organize and plan entry by brand based on seasonal calendar, marketing, and drops
  • Ability to gather and sort through electronic documents and identify sources to reference for planning and entry
  • Consolidate, extract, and transform vendor data in excel from multiple data sources as needed to meet business requirements and align with the standard Webster format
  • Enter item data and create purchase orders into our ERP system following guidelines and specific brand requirements
  • Support import/export compliance activities (e.g., Obtaining certificates of origin from vendors, Importer of Record, Valuation, HTS Classification, Country of Origin, Tariff Preferential Treatment Programs, Record-keeping, etc.) to ensure custom compliance
  • Collaborates with Brokers to resolve any Custom compliance issues and clearance delays
  • Analyze the spend on duties for trade savings opportunities
  • Create inbound receiving documents for stores to receive merchandise
  • Allocate items across our retail locations
  • Analyze stock levels and brand performance to ensure product is correctly allocated to retail locations
  • Performing regular data audits to ensure complete and accurate reporting of information/metrics
  • Develop new solutions to enhance existing processes for the accuracy and consistency of data
  • Create and manage excel spreadsheets
  • Help with consignment sales and any reporting needed for our vendors
  • Collaborate daily with buying and marketing departments to be able to plan entry efficiently for company initiatives and improve time to market
  • Assist with inquires and requests from the retail teams


  • Ability to balance workload and prioritize tasks

  • Proficient with Excel (Knowledge of VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables required)
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organization skills.

  • Demonstrate leadership ability


  • 4+ years’ experience in inventory, data, retail, or operations role
  • NetSuite or other ERP experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory and supply chain


  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of industry experience
