Paint the Town Off-White

Off-White and The Webster have teamed up for a colorful summer collaboration

Vibrant and saturated clothing are having a moment. And no one knows street style fashion better than Off-White’s Virgil Abloh. He teamed up with us to create a unique take on the colorful trend that is domineering the streets right now. The summer capsule collection is inspired by New York’s Soho neighborhood in the late 1960s. Everything took off with flying colors and nobody thrived more than the men and women in a mix of tie-dye and bright hues. Tear a page off of Virgil’s palette and wear your colors proudly. Kick your dark shades to the curb, because this summer it is all about lightening up.

For the women's designs, Abloh channeled a traditional painter’s wardrobe. He took inspiration from the streaks of paint and colors that dotted their clothing. Those delicate strokes and pastel colors, have transformed into an exclusive white and pink paint-brush pattern. Oversized and distressed white denim shorts are speckled with the feminine pink strokes. The same small paint stroked pattern that gives every piece a carefree, summer feel, covers an everyday Off-White capsule flap bag that also features metal hardware . An inverted pattern, where the strokes are in white, is seen on Off-White capsule high lurex socks. The jewel of the collaboration is a draped summer dress with an asymmetrical hemline . Spray paint was not overlooked. White, yellow and blue airbrush was just as prevalent as traditional paint strokes. For the mens designs, 100% cotton shorts are covered in the soft airbrush strokes in bright primary colors of yellow and blue, creating spots of green. A sweatpants and sweatshirt set is littered with the same airbrush strokes and Off-White arrows are printed on the back. These are for lounging, just as much as they are for a day outing.

No collaboration is complete without merch-style wear. We created an all-white women's cropped crew neck , as well as a Off-White tank top and slim tee . On the front, Off-White's logo and The Webster's locations are listed in an ombre purple to pink gradient. Off-White's famous arrows make a bold appearance on the back in the same color way. The defining factor: a white paint brush is designed on the back that is literally painting the shirt, working its magic in big, broad strokes.

Off-White’s famous industrial belt is getting a feminine update with the an exclusive purple color . The iconic belt also comes in a multi-color airbrush color way that gives the accessory an edgier feel. The gradient which goes from dark blue to white does not have to try hard to be seen. Both belts feature the classic metal buckle. If we could recommend one thing in this collaboration, this would have to be it.
