SUMMER STARTS IN CENTRAL PARK

What we're wearing this summer for sunny escapes in the city.

With summer around the corner, we can’t wait to enter vacation mode. Though not freed yet, we’ve found ways to escape the city without leaving it (or at least look the part) in our favorite summer dresses. Central Park, a sprawling oasis within the city, is the setting for the primer to our summer plans.

Starting our day, the matching the forest hues of the DRIES VAN NOTEN jacket and pant with the warm accents of the TONI + CHLOE GOUTAL Victoria Necklace and CHARLOTTE CHESNAIS Earring pay homage to the welcoming warmth of the greenery in the park.

Designer Jonathan Anderson’s summer dresses envisions the park’s florals in a bright JW ANDERSON Tie-Cut Rib T-Shirt layered under an asymmetric LOEWE Ruffle Dress – a complement to the sunshine and an elegant contrast to the deep shades of the foliage.

As the day winds down, evening wear converts to summer dresses – A CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC Single-Breasted Coat layered over a GIAMBATTISTA VALLI Silk-Georgette Gown welcomes the transition from dusk to evening with plaid accents over deep crimson.
