Joerg Koch founded 032c magazine in Berlin in 2001 with the goal of focusing on contemporary culture and fashion for a sophisticated audience. The publication has featured detailed dossiers on fashion legends like Helmut Lang, Comme des Garçons, and Raf Simons. In 2015, the magazine launched a clothing line called 032c Apparel to immediate, raving success. Joerg’s wife Maria Koch is the Creative Director, joining the brand after designing for Jil Sander, Prada, and consulting for Yeezy.
The line is informed by the content in the magazine, and the 032c office works like a research studio, with a constant exchange of ideas between the fashion line and the magazine. The collection features easy to wear basics with a street style edge.
