Carvil is a Parisian shoe brand established in the early 1950s by Henri Ledermann. By the 1970s Carvil was well known for its notorious clientele. The shoe named “Dylan” has remained a top seller since It was debuted and was named after a famed musician. In 2015 Frank Charriaut joined the company as artistic director, ten years prior he worked as a footwear and accessories designer. He aims to remain faithful to the brands legacy and is working on refurbishing the brand between tradition and fashion.
Charriaut handpicks materials from Italy and presented his first collection with Carvil in summer 2016, which was created in the original factory in Italy. Carvil is recognized for its timeless designs that are effortlessly Parisian chic.
