Magda Butrym
Magda Butrym created her eponymous label in 2014. With an emphasis on form and functionality, Butrym claims that part of her design process is thinking of how her pieces can be matched with others and how they integrate into a woman’s quotidian wardrobe. Her collections are characterized by melange of feminine and masculine spirit, with youthful, oversize silhouettes and asymmetry. Her pieces are often draped and fall in loose in romantic forms on the female body.
Butrym finds inspiration through travel and books on vintage style in the 70s and 80s, and adapts them to the times with a contemporary twist.
