Launched in 2010 by Rosa de la Cruz and Tierney Horne, the London-based jewelry brand turns star motifs and smiley faces into diamond-encrusted wearable contemporary art. Daughter of Cuban art collectors Rosa and Carlos de la Cruz who founded the Contemporary Art Space in Miami, Rosa junior started her career as an attorney at the Guggenheim Museum. Having grown up in Madrid surrounded by curated art and beautiful objects, her creative calling came after taking a jewelry-making workshop in Milan. After moving to London, de la Cruz partnered with Horne, who was formerly the fashion director at Harper’s & Queen in the U.K., as well as Elle and Mademoiselle in the U.S.
Inspired by vintage designs and bold aesthetics found in tattoo art and graphics, de la Cruz’s eponymous collection pairs seamlessly with day and evening looks, becoming easy essentials in any wardrobe.
