Sonia Rykiel

When Sonia Rykiel designed a sweater for herself, now known as the “poor boy sweater,” she was quickly put on the map as it was featured on the cover of Elle France, and Audrey Hepburn bought 14 styles. It was then, in 1968 France, that Sonia launched her namesake line that became known for its eccentric yet cool-girl styles. After her departure in 2009, Julie de Libran, formerly at Prada and Louis Vuitton, became creative director. She continues the house’s seductive and mysterious styles with a modern twist.

The fresh collections are Parisian at heart, and use lavish fabrics with metallic accents that create an unconventional elegance. Chic denim and leather are new to the brand, but the signature knitwear are a timeless staple for the French. Explore the exclusive tops made for the The Webster x Lane Crawford collection.
