Founded in 1964 in Beirut, Yeprem Chakardemian’s started his eponymous jewelry line after his mother gave him a sentimental gold bracelet. Channeling his family’s Armenian roots and Lebanese upbringing, Chakardemian created dramatically refined pieces set with classic white diamonds that mirrored the curves of a woman’s body. These intricate creations were intended to be lifetime companions that would highlight individual expression and the femininity of their wearers.
The brand has since been passed down to Chakardemian’s three children, Virna, John, and Loutfic who collectively oversee Yeprem’s creative direction. A celebrity favorite for its experimentally sculptural glamour, the new generation of the jewelry line continues to serve as extensions of the body, reinvigorated with more movement and reveals overlooked aspects of the wearer’s anatomy.
