Jerry Lorenzo created Fear of God to fill a void he observed in mens fashion. The line’s first capsule collection debuted in 2013 and immediately obtained viral status with endorsements from the the hip-hop community at large. Each collection fosters soaring anticipation between drops, followed by a rush of sellout pieces being swept off shelves, approved by the streetwear zeitgeist around the world.

Through trial and error, his first finished pieces landed in the hands of Kanye West, a critical influence who after seeing the collection hired Lorenzo to design his tour merchandise, and thus leading to his breakthrough debut.
