Alexandre Vauthier

Before creating his namesake label, Alexandre Vauthier was trained by two of the industry's most iconic names. After working as Thierry Mugler’s assistant, he became the head designer for Jean Paul Gaultier’s couture collections. In 2009 he launched his own label in Paris, which focused on a sultry and sexy motif. Vauthier is known for his fashion partnerships, such as with Christian Louboutin, Swarovski and Maison Lesage.

Vauthier’s defined aesthetic proves black and gold will always prove necessary, and he made the case for red when his FW11 and FW12 collections highlighted red styles.
