While growing up in Los Angeles, Brett Heyman grew a passion for antiques and vintage collecting. Through her store hunts, she fell in love with 1950 and 1960 colorful acrylic evening bags. By the time she was in high school she had amassed more than 100 evening bags. After a while, she could no longer find the bags, and found out there weren’t any manufacturers left from that time. When Brett gave birth to her first daughter, Edie Parker, she decided to leave her Public Relations position at Gucci to create her own evening bag brand.
Edie Parker, named after her daughter, was launched in 2012 in New York. The label specializes in making acrylic clutches that give a modern reinterpretation to the vintage style. All bags are handcrafted in the United States, and all feature custom designed shapes, colors and fonts. Explore our exclusive Fiona Clutch from The Webster x Ritz Paris collaboration.
