Preciously Paris is a line of clutch bags fusing contemporary art and haute couture designed by Carole Tessier since 2014. A consummate collector of contemporary art, Tessier finds inspiration from works by the likes of Damien Hirst and Takahashi Murakami. What started with a pair of custom embroidered jeans that caught the attention of many at Art Basel in Miami, Tessier, a former interior designer transformed the opportunity to produce custom embroidered pieces into a worldly line of quirky accessories based on vintage currency from around the world. The collection is entirely handmade in a small town where Hermès produces part of their bags, requiring 20 to 30 hours to create and limiting each design to just 38 pieces. Each bag comes in a numbered, limited-edition pink box exclusively for The Webster.
