Beyond the chocolate, cheese, and watches, the Swiss Alps are what dreams are made of. Quiet sophistication against a backdrop of picturesque mountains isn’t the only summation of what Switzerland offers. The Smallworld getaway of Gstaad, Switzerland is known for its A-list visitors from Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis to Audrey Hepburn, and timeless style, both pre-piste and apres ski. Look to pieces like J.W. Anderson’s baby pink neckband and The Elder Statesman’s X NBA slogan beanie. This quaint village, nestled into the township of Bernese Oberland is also home to a healthy range of activities—from the restorative secret sanctuary of Park Gstaad spa to the more sportif-seeking seasonal visitor’s fix of award-winningmRinderberg, Lengebrand, Saanerslochgrat, Hornberg, and Horneggli ski slopes. Discover this winter wanderlust of a destination, and prepare to be swept away.

The boutique hotel, Le Grand Bellevue, located in the heart of the village at
Untergstaadstrasse 17, 3780 Gstaad, Switzerland, has both the sophisticated luxuries
of a state-of-the-art hotel and spa as well as the historical charms of an 100-year old lodge.

For quieter moments, either enjoying a private chalet or the comforts of a five-star stay, cozy up in cashmere and swathe yourself in down feathered clothes. Or take a more conventional approach to loungewear and wear hostess-appropriate silky pajamas. Either way, slippers are an Alpine adventure essential accessory.

I love a great fur almost as much as a love a great faux fur. Snuggle up, clad in fuzz, at any of Gstaad’s go-to fine dining restaurants. Some of my personal favorites are restaurants are Posthotel Rössli, Stübli, and for night’s out, the Palace Hotel lobby GreenGo Discoteque is 70’s ski-chic meets today’s dance tracks.

That’s all for now. See you soon!
