The Webster’s Founder and CEO, Laure Heriard Dubreuil, takes us on a tour of her favorite Miami spots — what’s new, what’s hot, and what’s a must — in 24 hours.

The Magic City is well, pretty much, magical. From the beautiful beaches to the art deco hotels; such as the newly remodeled Plymouth, inspiration is everywhere. During my trips to Miami I always make sure to check out the art scene at the Wynwood Walls, and at one of my favorite galleries in the area, the UM Art Gallery. This part of town always has something new going on, and on this trip, I discovered two to die for places. Kyu Miami —the new sushi spot for locals and tourists alike— and The Salty Donut. Another absolute favorite that’s not far from Wynwood is Mandolin Aegean Bistro. Anastasia is a great friend, and I always love stopping by for lunch, the Shrimp Ouzo is to die for, and catching up with her. Shopping in Miami? Well, The Webster of course! I always stop by to see what the team is up to and add a few items to my closet. The colors and prints are great to wear in Miami’s sunny weather. After a long day running around, the best place to sit back and relax at is The Standard. Whether you stop by the spa or grab a drink on the terrace, it’s the place to be and be seen.

MIAMI the Standard

8 AM I love starting my morning with a light breakfast, chia pudding, fruit salad and Radiate Miami’s Mermaid Majikat the Juice Café Terrace was just right. Kombucha with a touch of ginger and blue algae; it was just what I needed to kick off my day.

9 AM After my nutritious breakfast I head the beach to soak in the morning rays with an early morning walk. I can’t forget to take my Gigi Burris straw hat, Ancient Greek leather sandals, and my Lisa Marie Fernandez striped swimsuit just in case I decide I have enough time for a quick dip.

10 AM The first stop on my agenda is the Bass Museum, I take a quick peek inside to see what’s new, and snap a picture by The Miami Mountain. Installed during Art Basel 2016, it has become a staple in the Miami Art scene and a must for tourists and locals alike. I especially love the way my Alaia polka dot dress pops against the bright neon colors in the installation.

12 PM After all that jumping around I stop by the Plymouth Hotel, a Miami classic, to refresh and get a dose of Art Deco inspiration. The newly renovated hotel is stunning! I have to remember to come back to try the new sushi restaurant,  Blue Ribbon.

1 PM Stopping by The Webster to check in on the team, with all the projects coming up, we have a lot to do in the office. While I’m here, I check out the new arrivals from my all my favorite brands.  Celine, Pierre Hardy, Valentino, Azzedine Alaia, and Loewe to name a few.

2 PM  Time flies when you’re having fun! It’s 2 pm and time to grab some lunch. I head out to one of my favorite spots in town, Mandolin Aegean Bistro. I love the Turkish sample, it has a little bit of all my favorites, and it’s great to share with a friend, or two.

4 PM After lunch I stop by The Wynwood Walls to see what I’ve missed since my last visit and check out the UM Art Gallery. While in the area, I grab a quick pick me up at Jugo Fresh to keep hydrated in the Miami heat.

5 PM After a few hours of admiring art, I detour over to Give Good Works Vintage, you never know what you can come across. A vintage Chanel or maybe a beautiful lace Dior dress?

6 PM After all that shopping and walking around, I take a bite out of a new favorite, The Salty Donut.

7 PM Before finishing up the night I head back to The Standard Hotel, one of my favorite places to stay while in Miami. Now time to freshen up, change my outfit and head out for a night on the town.

10 PM Dinner is at Kyu Miami, a new sushi hot spot that all the locals are talking about by chefs Chef Michael Lewis & Steven Haigh. When I get to the restaurant, it’s packed, so there must be something good inside.

Dinner was delicious; it’s now on my go-to list! Now it’s time to meet up with some friends; grab a drink, or two and enjoy the Miami nightlife after a long day!

See you soon.
